Product Specifications
Compatibility
Offers the ability to install high quality voice security into hundreds ofmakes and models of two-way radios. The SC20-400 can effectively be
used with repeaters and control equipment, trunked or conventional.
Continuous Operation
Allows the SC20-400 to continue to operate even if the radio signalis interrupted. Traditionally, scramblers can take seconds to recover
a lost signal caused by a hand-off, step-on, marginal signal
or a fade. With continuous operation, the SC20-400 recovers
almost immediately after the signal is restored.
Voice Quality
Provides clear, natural sounding speech and excellent voicerecognition while operating in the secure mode.
Over-the-Air Reprogramming (OTAR)
Allows security codes to be changed by remote commandswhile radios remain in the fi eld and operational.
Radio Disable Function
Provides the ability to disable radios that have been lost orstolen. A disabled radio will be unable to receive or transmit
messages, thus eliminating any advantage an undesired listener
would gain from stealing a radio.
