TRUAUDIO, AN INNOVATIVE ON SPEAKERS

Yamaha de Mexico, S.A. de C.V. is a subsidiary of Yamaha Corporation, established in Japan since 1887.

Thanks to the great interest of Mexican consumers, Nippon Gakki (now Yamaha Corporation) decides to open the first branch outside of Japan… Yamaha de México.

On October 2, 1958, Yamaha de México (YDM) was formally established, thanks to Mr. Rokuro Tago. One year later, the first President of YDM, Mr. Mitsuo Kasahara, came directly from Japan. In 1959, the 20 de Noviembre store was inaugurated in the city center where the pianos that were assembled in Mexico were sold. In 1966, the sale of organs began in Mexico and the following year the Insurgentes Sur store was inaugurated.

In 2018 Yamaha de México celebrates 60 years of residence in Mexico, celebrating and thanking its closest allies, artists and representatives of institutions.

Yamaha knows that moving moments live in sound, and music comes to life when you play it or just listen to it.
That's why Yamaha inspires people's passion and helps them step up to express their individuality, emotion and creativity.
