The SmarTrunk II Digital Truking System is designed to provide sophisticated trunking and telephone interconnect features using low cost-two-way radio equipment at VHF and UHF. The new ST-853 Enhanced Digital Trunking Controller offers many significant improvements over the ST-852 including these exciting new features:
* Memory capacity for over 4,000 subscribers.
* Up to 4,500 call records per controller.
* Over 300,000 paging codes available.
* Up to 8 restricted prefixes and 8 override prefixes can be selected on a per subscriber basis.

MOBILE TO LANDLINE
Call from radio subscribers to landline phones are initiated by dialing a single digit outing number followed by the"1" button on your DTMF microphone or keypad.
MOBILE TO MOBILE
These calls are handled in a similar fashion as mobile to landline calls but with a different routing digit. Once an open channels is found, you will hear a "beep" tone.
LANDLINE TO MOBILE
To call a mobile unit from a landline phone, simply dial the system phone number. At the "beep" tone, dial the four digit subscriber number
GROUP CALLING
Group calling is possible from either landline or a mobile unit. The procedure is similar to landline-to-mobile or mobile-to mobile calling.
