Generator CTCSS Tone





The EDM-1 is a CTCSS (Continuous Tone-Coded Squelch System) generator, it is capable to generate 38 standard tones and 13 non standard tones, this gives to user, the capacity to select any of 51 available tones in a matter of seconds just using solder and one iron to do the Programming (refer to programming table). This device require just subaudible modulation adjustment, and it must be an 1/8 of the maximum modulation allowed by the system ( i.e. for a 5 Khz system the audio deviation would be 5000/8 = 625 Hz), a grater deviation could produce an audible hum, which is noticeable at the much Higher frequency tones.

The EDM-2 is a CTCSS (Continuous Tone-Coded Squelch System) and/or DCS (Digital Coded Squelch) generator, it is capable to generate 51 CTCSS Tones (38 standard and 13 non standard) and 106 DCS codes (normal and/or inverted). The EDM-3 is a Simplex Repeater Controller , and it is designed to get the maximun performance of your communication system.
