Desktop ANI MDC-1200® Decoder / Display Unit






FEATURES:

* Manufactured by Control Signal ® Corporation.
* Has large, bright, 4-digit LED display.
* Decodes ANI transmitted from any radio with Motorola ® MDC-1200 or with Control Signal ANI encoder,
   Model ID-12.
* Operates on either 115 volts AC or 12 volts DC.
* Works with any receiver. Hooks up to any audio with level between 100 MV and 5 volts.
* Decodes numeric ANI, up to 4 digits; no alpha.
* Each ID is tagged with time and date.
* Has a printer port. Hooks up to any PC printer (dot matrix preferred).
* Has an RS232 port with 9600-baud rate. Hook up to a PC and use Microsoft Windows terminal emulator
   to display the ID, date and time of transmission.
* For incoming Emergency ID, the ID-1201 will show a flashing ID with an audible alarm.
* Has a data-mute capability which blanks 95% of the ID data burst.
* Dimensions:  6-3/4 inches wide, 4 inches tall, 1 inch thick, and sits on a weighted base.
* Three top-mounted pushbuttons allow for setting up the unit (time & date), shutting the Emergency
   alarm, and clearing the ID from the display.
* Select input signal impedance with a rear-mounted slide switch.
* Has an internal trimpot for adjusting alarm audio level.
* Has internal jumpers for turning on signal pre-amp and de-emphasis.

ID-12
Micro-Miniature Encoder





The ID-12, manufactured by Control Signal Corporation, is a state-of-the-art, micro-miniature encoder that transmits a digital ANI in the Motorola MDC-1200 format. The ID-12 is designed to fill the needs of a fleet where part of the fleet has Motorola MDC-1200 ANI, and part of the fleet does not.

The ID-12 encoder is designed to work in any radio system. It can operate in the presence of any squelch control (carrier, tone, or digital) and with any brand or model of radio.
