The power supply is designed using advanced switch mode technology for high reliability and minimum weight and physical size. The advanced circuit innovations reduces output voltage ripply and will deliver high output power without RFI (radio frequency interference). Current limiting and over-voltage protection devices prevent damage to equipment connected to the power supply in the unlikely event of a component failure or short circuit within the power supply. The power supply was tested for use as a base station power supply for Land Mobile Radio and will provide clean reliable power throughout commonly uses: HF, VHF and UHF bands.
